Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking to appoint a permanent Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major earthworks project on the Isle of Lewis. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values creativity, innovation and the delivery of high-quality results.
- Ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards across all projects.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
- Managing project budgets and maintaining strict financial control.
- Supervising and supporting all site-based personnel.
- Overseeing the commercial aspects of project delivery.
- Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate project records.
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline).
- Demonstrable experience of successfully managing a variety of civil engineering projects.
- Previous experience of civil earthworks projects (advantageous).
- Strong technical knowledge and oversight of all civil site activities.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and professional approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Accommodation and travel costs will be covered.
