A leading data solutions firm near Crewe is seeking a BI Developer to create and manage scalable BI solutions. You will craft interactive dashboards, enhance financial reporting systems, and implement robust data processes. Proficiency in PowerBI is essential, with beneficial skills in Cognos, SQL, and data manipulation. This role involves collaborating with business teams and IT to optimize BI solutions. Onsite position with some hybrid working options available.
Formación
- Experience with PowerBI, preferably with Fabric.
- Ability to create robust and scalable BI solutions.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and querying techniques.
Responsabilidades
- Craft engaging and interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools.
- Integrate and manage data from diverse sources.
- Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting systems.
- Implement ETL processes for accurate data flow.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across BI deliverables.
Conocimientos
BI Developer required by a company based near Crewe, paying circa £45,000 to be based onsite, with some hybrid working. Skills required: PowerBI (ideally with Fabric). Beneficial skills: Cognos TM1, SQL, DAX, Power Query, data manipulation and querying, ML/AI and Qlik would be beneficial to create robust and scalable BI solutions.
- Craft engaging and interactive dashboards and reports using a leading data visualisation platform.
- Harness a modern data platform to seamlessly integrate and manage data from diverse sources.
- Maintain and enhance sophisticated financial models and reporting systems.
- Implement robust ETL processes to ensure data flows smoothly and accurately.
- Champion data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI deliverables.
- Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of data governance best practices.
- Optimise BI solutions for peak performance and scalability to meet growing demands.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in BI systems.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Partner with IT colleagues to ensure seamless integration of BI solutions within the existing technology landscape.
- Educate and support end-users on BI tools and solutions, empowering them to leverage data effectively.
- Create clear and concise documentation for all BI solutions.
