A leading educational organization in Dorking is seeking a compassionate Learning Support Worker to join their established team. This permanent role involves supporting young adults with complex needs in both classroom settings and on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in support work and a Level 2 Diploma in teaching and learning (desirable). This welcoming and community orientated specialist adult centre/school is seeking a Learning Support worker to join their established team ASAP. This highly regarded specialist centre supports young adults 18+ years on the Autistic spectrum and with other associated conditions (including communication difficulties, medical needs and challenging behaviour). This award winning setting is looking for a member of staff to join this globally recognised school on a permanent basis. This role is needed all year round, Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
The setting is brilliantly resourced, open and welcoming, well equipped and enables the education team to offer an education/curriculum that is broad, fun, interactive and meeting the needs of each child.
