A leading engineering consultancy in the UK is looking for graduates to join its 2-year Global Graduate Scheme, where participants will rotate across various engineering disciplines. This program includes technical and soft-skills development, mentorship, and opportunities to work on meaningful projects in sectors like automotive and aerospace. Benefits include flexible working arrangements, professional mentorship, and a comprehensive wellbeing support package.
Ricardo, a member of WSP, is a global strategic, environmental, and engineering consulting company with over 110 years of engineering excellence and approximately 2,600 employees in more than 20 countries. The Global Graduate Scheme – Ricardo Automotive & Industrial offers a permanent role starting with a 2‑year accelerated development programme comprising four rotations around the business. It includes technical and soft‑skills development in a consultancy environment and is accredited with the IMechE and the IET, encouraging progress to CEng/IEng with in‑house mentorship and professional cover fees.
Being part of the scheme, participants will experience a 2‑year accelerated graduate development programme, followed by transition to their chosen discipline. Opportunities include up to four placements around the business, meaningful and fulfilling engineering projects across a range of market sectors including passenger car, heavy duty and commercial vehicle, marine, defence, off‑highway and aerospace.
Due to recent updates to UK Government immigration salary thresholds, Ricardo is currently unable to offer sponsorship for post‑study work or Skilled Worker visas as part of our early career programmes. While this means we are unable to support visa applications under the current criteria, we remain committed to reviewing our approach in line with any future changes to immigration policy. We value the diverse talent that international graduates bring and will continue to monitor developments closely.
We will be scheduling face‑to‑face assessment centres in February and March, offering invited participants the opportunity to meet our Engineering management team and current cohorts of graduates.
