Job summary
A prominent service engineering company in Huntingdon is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team. This permanent role involves mechanical assembly, servicing, and refurbishment, and offers the opportunity to work both on-site and in the field across East Anglia. The ideal candidate will have experience in Mechanical Engineering and be skilled in using hand tools. Competitive hourly pay starts at £15, with benefits included.

£15.00 per hour (£32,500) Negotiable plus benefits
Our client is a friendly busy service engineering company based in Huntingdon. They are looking to grow their team and would like to give the opportunity to a Mechanical Fitter to grow and develop a new career on a permanent basis.
The position of Mechanical Fitter will be site based in Huntingdon along with field based in and around the East Anglia area.
- All areas of mechanical assembly, servicing, fitting, breakdowns and refurbishment.
- Use of hand tools, mechanical engineering diagrams.
- Understanding of pumps would be an advantage, alongside fabrication experience.
- Ability to work to job sheets and understand technical drawings.
- Ideally you will have gone to college and studied Mechanical Engineering.
- Have worked within Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Used to various hand tools and enjoy taking things apart and rebuilding.
- Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm
