The purpose of this role is to provide maintenance and servicing of life safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European standards, in accordance with BS5839 standards.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Provide day to day planned and reactive maintenance of contractsServicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systemsTo respond to emergency call-outs and carry out any remedial works as requiredCarry out asset verificationInstall replacement/additional equipmentTake part in the on-call rotaConduct site surveys as requiredSupporting the development of apprenticesTo always act in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the clientsRequired Skills and experience:Previous Fire Maintenance experienceGood understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266.FIA units (1,3,5)Driving LicenceWorking Environment:This is operational site-based position and involves collaborating closely with the support service team. While also engaging with our clients.
Expect a dynamic and fast paced work setting that combines on site work with on-going communication with office-based colleagues.
