  • Manage day-to-day delivery of the Paediatric Audiology Service.
  • Deliver non-routine specialist audiological services.
  • Liaise with Audiology Lead to ensure smooth service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • The post holder works in close co‑operation with the Audiology Lead/Head of Audiology Services and the Audiology Sites Leads.
  • Managing the day‑to‑day delivery of specific aspects of a modern Paediatric Audiology Service.
  • Personal delivery of non‑routine specialist audiological services.
  • Liaising and co‑operating with the Audiology Lead/Head of Service and site Leaders to ensure that day‑to‑day operations of the service are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
  • Deliver objectives agreed at the outset of the future year and respond to re‑setting of objectives during the year if needed.
  • Ensure fitness to practice, keeping a record for CPD and continuation of professional registration.
  • Agree and work positively towards Personal Development Plans, agreed as part of objective setting.
  • Provide data/information required for personal performance management and ensure this is done for junior staff.
