A health services provider in Croydon is seeking a Pathfinder Staff Nurse on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of childhood immunisations in community settings, working collaboratively with health visitors. Responsibilities include ensuring high service delivery standards, training health visitors, and maintaining clinical records. Candidates must hold a clean UK driving licence and experience in providing effective immunisation services. This role provides an excellent opportunity to impact public health positively.
We are recruiting an enthusiastic registered nurse to work as part of a small team with a health visitor to lead, deliver and influence the national Health Visitor Pathfinder Project in Croydon. The post holder will deliver a local service specification of childhood immunisations that meets the public health needs of the local communities in Croydon. The post holder will work in the North Locality of the borough covering 4 PCN’s which has 24 GP Practices.
The aim of the Pathfinder project is to utilise the health visiting service to increase the uptake of childhood vaccinations for children aged 0‑5 years in domiciliary or alternative settings.
All candidates must have a clean full UK driving licence and the use of a car for work purposes.
