Job summary
A reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to oversee site operations on projects in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Candidates should have proven experience in groundworks and RC frames, alongside necessary certifications. This is a freelance position offering flexibility in the dynamic environment of construction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks and RC frames.
- Strong knowledge of foundations, drainage, formwork, and concrete structures.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations for groundworks and RC frame packages.
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
- Ensuring works are delivered to programme and budget.
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Reporting progress and resolving on-site issues efficiently.
