A leading technology institute seeks a Project Manager to oversee engineering projects from initiation to delivery. This role involves collaboration with small and medium enterprises to establish business needs and project requirements. You will manage a variety of tasks including account management and bid work, while ensuring adherence to project management processes. The position offers a competitive salary package, including hybrid working options, private medical insurance, and a strong focus on employee wellbeing and development.
Bristol based with Hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in office, more may be required)
Salary: £39,878 to £47,752 per annum + 12.5% employer pension and private medical insurance.

Sitting within our Industrial Innovation team, you’ll have end to end responsibility for a variety of small to medium sized Engineering projects, from involvement in bid management through to implementation. Most projects are small, with a high turnover.
You’ll work with a range of small to medium sized external clients to establish business needs, translate those into requirements and potential solutions, then see those through delivery. You’ll also get involved in account management and bid work which could be up to 15% of your role at some points.
Using established project management processes, you’ll work with a variety of internal multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that projects are delivered to time, cost and quality.
Working primarily with small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), but often larger organisations as well, our aim is to accelerate industrial transformation by driving the innovation and development of advanced materials, processes and digital technologies, fostering collaboration across sectors, and delivering adoptable, sustainable solutions that strengthen the UK's manufacturing capability and global competitiveness.
