Safer, easier to maintain, more durable, sustainable and visually attractive, these systems are fast becoming the default choice for architects, specifiers, and constructors of modern state-of-the-art industrial workplaces, sports venues, transport terminals, carparks, and warehouses. Developers, owners and tenants are demanding these high-performance safety systems for their buildings, whether new-builds, or refits. The company has enjoyed huge success in multiple countries and is now in rapid scale-up in numerous international markets, including the UK.

Role

This business now needs to appoint a Regional Sales Manager to identify new customers and generate sales in its Eastern Region (from Yorkshire to West Sussex including London, East Anglia, East Midlands). The UK - which is a huge market has enormous potential if the demand for its products overseas can be replicated here. The company is keen to secure a high-performing sales professional as it plans and expects to capture a very large market-share in the short-term. This is also a significant opportunity for the right individual to join a new market-entrant at a very exciting time in its development, and with a portfolio of innovative solutions that redefines safety in the workplace. The company is 100% confident that theirs is the best product on the market.

This is a field-based position, and WFH / hybrid is encouraged. Extensive travel throughout the region will be required for customer site-visits, to trade fairs and occasionally to the companys offices in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be selling to customers themselves, and personally targeted on achieving annual sales in the millions. This is also a key appointment into a high-performing and mutually supportive team, which is driven by a collective desire to excel with enthusiasm.

Dynamic and flexible, proactive and positive, the Regional Sales Manager will connect the customers, safety advisers, environmental teams, and service departments to ensure smooth project delivery. Site surveys, crafting compelling win-win quotations and being on-hand for the customer during installations, are all part of the role.

Candidate

Reporting directly to the UK MD, the individual appointed will need to draw on a relevant education and successful commercial experience in B2B sales of industrial products, services, systems and solutions. Ideally, from a background gained in fast-growth scale-up SMEs, and ideally with a technical bias, the selected candidate will be especially motivated by - and take a no-nonsense approach to - keeping people safe.

Clearly, a track record of building genuine relationships based on listening skills and a service-led mindset are pre-requisites. Both independent and a team-player, adapting quickly with boundless flexibility, and the desire and matched ability to thrive and succeed at the fast pace of a growing company - all of these are essential.
