The Sales and BDR Enablement Manager at CloudPay will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive enablement strategies that increase the productivity (& speed to productivity) and enhance the effectiveness of our Business Development Representatives and Account Executives in New Logo & Upsell Sales to drive sales conversion rates.
This role reports to the Director, Sales & Marketing Operations & is critical to scaling our sales organisation while maintaining high standards.
As CloudPay has grown, so have its sales and BDR teams, and now it needs a dedicated manager focused on making sure that every seller has the right skills and competencies to do the best job, can become productive as quickly as possible and can convert leads into sales efficiently and quickly. The ideal candidate will need to be proactive and robust, with an ability to cut through complexity and galvanize people. The person will need to have very good communication skills.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive sales enablement programs for Business Development Representatives and Account Executives in New Logo and Upsell Sales
• Take the requirements of the sales managers and develop and deliver programmes which can be rolled out across all customer-facing people
• Create and maintain sales playbooks, call scripts, objection handling frameworks, and other enablement materials aligned with CloudPay’s value proposition and target markets
• Develop and execute onboarding programs for new sales hires to accelerate time-to-productivity
• Partner with Product Marketing to translate product knowledge into compelling sales messaging and tools for the Cloudpay proposition, and detailed products and services knowledge
• Source, evaluate, engage and manage external training providers alongside our L&D team to deliver skills training programs for sales teams, specifically around negotiation, dealing with objections, pipeline management, and presentation skills
• Analyse sales performance data to identify gaps and opportunities for enablement interventions
• Collaborate with sales and BDR leadership to align enablement initiatives with strategic business objectives
• Drive adoption and effective utilisation of enablement technologies and tools such as Seismic
• Establish baseline competency frameworks and create robust certification programs for all BDR and sales roles
• Regularly surface the competitive intelligence resources in Crayon to ensure sales teams are equipped with current market intelligence
• Manage vendor relationships and training delivery to ensure quality and consistency across regions
• Being able to creatively use available resources to maximise the impact of initiatives and training investments
Attributes and Experience Required:
• Very experienced in Sales Enablement in a B2B context; Knowledge of Payroll and HCM space would be ideal
• Proven track record designing and implementing successful sales enablement programs at scale
• Highly motivated and resilient with experience in global/international sales environments
• Strong understanding of enterprise sales methodologies and B2B selling processes
• Experience selecting and managing external training providers and consultants
• Experience driving the adoption and optimisation of existing sales tools and technologies
• Vendor management and budget oversight skills
• Experience working with HubSpot CRM and marketing automation platform
• Familiarity with sales enablement tools such as Salesloft and Sales Navigator
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present clearly
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data visualisation tools and business intelligence platforms
• Commercial mindset with proven ability to challenge the status quo to drive improved business outcomes
