Customer Service Agent – Newcastle, UK
Type: 6‑month contract (Inside IR35) – Rate: £15 per hour (dependent on experience). OT: 1.5× rate; DT: 2× rate. No of positions: 2. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for Personal Loans account holders via inbound calls.
Managing customer information in line with GDPR.
Deliver outstanding customer service and strive for first‑outcome resolution.
Work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring process and procedure compliance.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer records.
Achieve key performance indicators such as average handling time.
Qualifications & Experience
Call centre/Contact centre experience.
Customer service experience.
Desirable: Financial customer service experience.
Desirable: Personal Loans service experience.
Experience in customer records management.
Team‑player who collaborates with teammates to deliver outstanding service.
