We are now looking for an Engineering Lead to join us in Airbus Defence and Space in Portsmouth. You will join our Network Management Systems (NMS) group and report to our Head of NMS Centre of Competence. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Lead the agile teams to define, develop and deliver software applications within the Network Management Systems domain
- Our teams are Agile (SCRUM) and you will be expected to develop and grow the agile ways of working for projects under your guidance, and support agile adoption on other projects
- Work with project stakeholders to provide information on project progress, deliver and spend profiles
- Provide support to the team by prioritising work in the role of Product Owner
- Work with project controllers to ensure there is a project plan, with day‑to‑day planning performed through the JIRA toolset
- Strong experience with Agile methodology
- A commercial background of being in a scrum master, product owner or engineering manager role
- Track record of project management - background of dealing with stakeholders across different projects
- Any experience with networking/Cisco/Satellite Communications (SatComs) would be great to see
