A reputable construction solutions firm in South Yorkshire is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to spearhead sales of Ground Shoring and Formwork products. The role involves engaging with Civil Engineers and Groundworkers, with a strong emphasis on new business development while maintaining existing client relationships. Ideal candidates should have a background in technical sales and excellent communication skills. An attractive package with a basic salary of £45k plus significant commission is offered.
£45k basic plus an excellent uncapped commission scheme worth approx £15k p.a
This Technical Sales Manager role for Ground Shoring / Formwork products involves selling and hiring out the company’s range of products, including trench boxes, manhole boxes, manhole braces, pipe lifters, struts & walers, trench lining, and tube shoring products. The primary focus will be on selling into Groundworkers and Civil Engineers, such as major infrastructure contractors, with 80% of the role targeting new business and 20% dedicated to nurturing and maintaining existing accounts. The managed region will be all of Yorkshire.
The company has been established for over 50 years, with a strong presence in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be a technical solution sales person who enjoys interacting on site, with experience in the hire industry preferred. Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with Civil Engineers, Sub Contractors, and Ground Workers.
