Job summary
A leading project management firm is seeking an experienced Project Planner for a fixed-term contract of approximately 30 weeks. The role is site-based around Chester, focusing on planning and monitoring for a major demolition and deconstruction project. Candidates should have a construction-related Bachelor's degree, experience in planning complex projects, and proficiency in Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact while developing your planning expertise.
Qualifications
- Construction-related Bachelor's degree is required.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) is desirable.
- Experience within the Nuclear sector is highly desirable.
- Proven experience planning demolition or deconstruction projects.
- Proficient in developing NEC4-compliant programmes.
- Valid UK driving license is needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor detailed project programmes from first principles.
- Collect and report progress information, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with planning and scheduling matters, attending meetings.
- Ensure up-to-date programme production throughout the project lifecycle.
- Apply expertise in industry-standard planning software.
