Job summary

A leading project management firm is seeking an experienced Project Planner for a fixed-term contract of approximately 30 weeks. The role is site-based around Chester, focusing on planning and monitoring for a major demolition and deconstruction project. Candidates should have a construction-related Bachelor's degree, experience in planning complex projects, and proficiency in Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project. Qualifications

  • Construction-related Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) is desirable.
  • Experience within the Nuclear sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience planning demolition or deconstruction projects.
  • Proficient in developing NEC4-compliant programmes.
  • Valid UK driving license is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor detailed project programmes from first principles.
  • Collect and report progress information, ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling matters, attending meetings.
  • Ensure up-to-date programme production throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply expertise in industry-standard planning software.
