Job summary
A leading engineering firm is seeking a Part 145 Planning Engineer for a contract role at Stansted Airport. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aviation maintenance and project management skills. This role entails producing accurate maintenance work packages and managing complex engineering projects. The position offers a flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, with a competitive rate to be discussed upon application.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of project management within an engineering environment.
- Extensive experience in aviation maintenance, operations, CAMO or manufacturing.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

MPI have a requirement for a Part 145 Planning Engineer for our client based at Stansted Airport.
This is a contract role for 6 months with a possible extension, working 8.00am to 16.30pm Monday to Friday.
You will be accountable for production of accurate maintenance work packages and the management of complex maintenance and modification projects.
Rate of pay is to be discussed on application and is out of scope of IR35.
- Demonstrable experience of project management within an engineering environment.
- Have a vast amount of experience in aviation maintenance, operations, CAMO or manufacturing.
- Strong PC user skills (Excel, Word, MS Project)
- Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Show a good sense of priorities.
- Experienced in the usage of Wings ERP or equivalent.
- Time flexibility.
