Role Summary

As TalkTalk transforms from a Telco to a Techco, our People and Culture Team seeks a highly experienced Strategic People and Talent Business Partner to help shape this future. This senior, hands-on role requires a proven track record in strategic people partnering, translating our people and culture strategy into actionable, business-aligned initiatives for transformational outcomes.

You will be a trusted advisor to our Executive Committee, providing strategic leadership, identifying and delivering people solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness, simplify our structure, and foster a high-performance, engaged culture. Your expertise in organizational design, talent management, and data-driven decision-making will be crucial to our growth and cultural transformation.

Key responsibilities include establishing effective ways of working, prioritizing initiatives, enabling self-service capabilities, and creating a positive, innovative environment aligned with our strategic objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in:

• Trusted senior partner to executives, translating business priorities into effective people initiatives
• Building credible relationships across all levels, promoting inclusion and performance culture
• Driving leadership development, organizational design, and cultural transformation
• Executing talent strategies, succession planning, and workforce planning
• Embedding performance metrics and fostering a positive employee environment
• Providing data-driven insights, monitoring performance, and advising on industry trends

Success Criteria

Ideal candidates will possess:

• MCIPD/FCIPD qualification with extensive experience in strategic HR roles, preferably within technology or product-led organizations
• Strong generalist and specialist HR skills, including organization design and change management
• Proven success in leading enterprise-wide cultural and organizational change
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive talent strategies
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and data analytics skills
