Events Executive

Blue Legal is recruiting for an Events Executive on behalf of a leading international professional services firm. This role offers the chance to deliver a variety of high-quality events, from conferences and seminars to networking receptions and client functions, working as part of a busy and collaborative events team. You’ll be involved in all stages of the event lifecycle, supporting business goals while working closely with stakeholders across the firm.

The Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver in-person events across multiple offices, providing on-site support as required.
  • Manage the events calendar for the Scotland offices, collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective delivery.
  • Handle event administration, budgets, supplier liaison, and post-event analysis.
  • Work with stakeholders to define event objectives and ensure alignment with business development goals.
  • Communicate event details across the business to maximise engagement and collaboration.
  • Support virtual and hybrid events when required, ensuring a high-quality delegate experience.

The Candidate:

  • Experience in law or professional services, with understanding of the legal market.
  • Proven track record in managing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events to a high standard.
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, influencing stakeholders effectively.
  • Knowledge of GDPR/data protection for events, and experience with CRM and eMarketing platforms.
  • Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate occasional out-of-hours events.
  • Proactive attitude to improving processes and adopting new event technologies.
