We are hiring a Project Support Officer to initially support the Programme Sponsor and Project Managers to deliver the Tomorrow’s Tower programme of works. You will be part of the Project Support Office, which is a central pool of skilled resources based within the Projects team, to provide support to Major Projects work and Planned Conservation Programmes across Historic Royal Palaces, reporting to the Project Support Services Manager.
You Will
- Advise project managers in the correct and efficient use of the HRP Project Management framework.
- Provide support for the day-to -day operation and administration of Tomorrow’s Tower Projects and Programme.
- Provide skilled technical support to project teams.
- Provide financial administration and reporting.
- Provide support skills in specialist software such as Efinancials, Procore and Microsoft Project.
- Provide technical research, data collection and archive / database management.
- Undertake delegated work packages (e.g. obtaining quotations, recording trials and investigations).
- This is a client role and required excellent team working skills.
About You
You will have experience in working in a busy office environment in an administrative or financial function. You’ll be methodical and numerate with excellent attention to detail. You will have good organisational skills and the ability to work at pace, prioritising and re-prioritising activity, and meeting deadlines with accuracy. You will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) up to intermediate level and be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. You’ll work collaboratively and be a good team player. An interest in construction type projects is desirable as is some knowledge of Construction Management Software however full training will be provided.

Salary: £34,030 per annum
