Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Hull
Salary: £99 - £115 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 or sooner
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor (CS):

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure pupils remain on task throughout.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Respond to general questions from pupils about the lesson and provide additional support where needed.
• Provide feedback to teachers regarding student participation and behaviour.
• Foster a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Adapt to a range of school environments, year groups, and subjects.

Cover Supervisor (CS) Job Requirements:

• Prior experience working in an educational setting, ideally in a supervisory or classroom setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Patience, resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
