Part Time Teacher - Secondary Schools - Bristol

Protocol Education are working with schools throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas to appoint committed Cover Supervisors/Flexi-Teachers/Teachers to become a vital part of their teaching staff on a part time/cover basis.

Hours: 08.30 - 15.30

There is FREE TRAINING provided for this role.

The Role;

• As a flexi-cover/part time teacher, you will work across all year groups as and when needed. Either covering lessons due to staff absence or supporting certain classes and class teachers in learning.

• Carry out work pre-set by class teacher to a high standard

• To manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
• De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way certifying safeguarding procedures are always adhered.
• Collecting of work at the end of the lesson and returning it to the appropriate recipient.
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.

Types of Employent/Contract types available:

  • Part time/Zero Hour
  • Reduced days
  • Cover in the same school on available days
  • Day to day

• Qualified Teacher Status is preferred, however candidate with good, relevant experience will be considered.
