The post holder will provide low-intensity, evidence-based psychological interventions including guided self-help and delivery of group interventions for service users within HMP Forest Bank, carrying out thorough assessments, risk management, and care planning in line with Trust policies.

They will take responsibility for organising and managing their own caseload, including screening and accepting referrals, and will ensure accurate record keeping and outcome monitoring. In addition, the post holder will oversee the Step 2 provision, offering clinical and managerial supervision to PWPs and trainees, and supporting service development and audit activities. They will actively contribute to multidisciplinary working across the prison and wider services, liaise with partner agencies and promote access to psychological support for a diverse service user population.

• Provide low-intensity, evidence-based psychological interventions including guided self-help and group interventions for service users within HMP Forest Bank.
• Carry out thorough assessments, risk management and care planning in line with Trust policies.
• Organise and manage own caseload, screen and accept referrals, ensure accurate record keeping and outcome monitoring.
• Oversee Step 2 provision, provide clinical and managerial supervision to PWPs and trainees.
• Support service development, audit activities and contribute to multidisciplinary working within the prison and with partner agencies.

• Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), Band 6 or equivalent.
• Experience delivering evidence-based low-intensity interventions and psycho-educational groups to adults in criminal justice settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams; resilience, compassion and alignment with Trust values.
• Supervision experience or ability to provide clinical and managerial supervision to PWPs and trainees.
