We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive Key Stage 1 team. This is a key year for developing confidence, independence, and preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments. Starting May 2025.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs with a passion for early learning and strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.

1. Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support progress and a love of learning.
2. Prepare pupils for Key Stage 1 SATs in a calm, supportive and positive way.
3. Provide personalised support to ensure all pupils thrive, including those with additional needs.
4. Track and assess progress regularly, using data to inform planning.
5. Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure continuity of learning and care.

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. A sound understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and phonics.
3. Knowledge of assessment frameworks and end-of-KS1 moderation.
4. Strong communication and classroom management skills as a Year 2 Teacher.
5. A warm, inclusive and reflective approach to teaching.
