The candidate will identify and build sales pipelines, source opportunities with new accounts, and maintain competitive awareness. A minimum of 7 years in outside sales targeting alternative investments is required. Qualificações

  • Minimum 7+ years of direct outside sales experience in the alternative investment marketplace.
  • Proven track record in selling and demoing SaaS solutions and data services.
  • Experience in active sales pipeline management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, Data & Analytics, you will be responsible to sell products in Alter Domus’ Analytics Product suite in the EMEA region.

Role Responsibilities:
  • You will identify and build a pipeline of software subscription and managed data services business by cross‑selling into existing accounts in collaboration with the Relationship Management team
  • You will source opportunities with new accounts and build pipeline for other target accounts in collaboration the New Business Development team.
  • You will be accountable for ensuring Alter Domus remains alert to competitive trends and analysis in partnership with Sales leadership and colleagues in Product and Marketing.
  • You will actively drive and participate in sales and contracting activities such as:
    • Serving as product‑level sales domain expertise
    • Running discovery meetings and product demonstrations
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
    • Work with the product org on phase‑two technical demonstrations, scoping, and proof‑of‑value exercises.
    • Respond to RFPs
    • Negotiate pricing
    • Collaborate with legal on contract generation and contract redlines.
  • You will maintain a timely and accurate sales forecast and a log of all sales‑related activity
  • You will have strong product and technical acumen.
  • You will collaborate with product and service delivery teams to ensure business opportunities are fully assessed and in accordance with Alter Domus policies and procedures.
  • You will promote and build the Alter Domus brand and culture both internally and externally, acting as a role model to our people, clients and customers.
  • You will travel regularly for client meetings, conferences, and events.
  • You will be dually accountable to the regional sales senior leadership on a dotted‑line structure
  • You will assist with account retention and subscription renewals
  • You will support opportunities in the APAC region as needed
Experience & Education:
  • Minimum 7+ years of direct outside sales experience complemented by measurable success targeting the alternative investment marketplace.
  • Experience and a proven track record in selling and demoing SaaS‑based solutions, data management and data extraction services, and/or quantitative models.
  • Experience in active sales pipeline management and CRM tools.
  • Strong commercial skills to identify, target and build client pipelines with the credibility to open doors and build relationships with alternative asset managers and asset owners
  • Superior business insight, client presentation skills, and commercial acumen
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and influencing capabilities in a global and complex matrix organisation.
  • Minimum educational attainment of a university degree.
