AROS (Anti-Racism Observatory for Scotland) is a bold, community-rooted initiative dedicated to challenging systemic racism, holding power to account, and amplifying the voices of those most affected by racial injustice in Scotland.
We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced, multi-tasker to take on a new and exciting role of Operations Manager to work with colleagues across AROS as we stand up and operationalise the organisation.
This role would suit candidates with experience of operational management, planning and change, contract management and establishing new governance systems and processes. Key to this role is managing the day to day operations of the Observatory and to act as the main liaison between AROS and the host partner (University of Strathclyde).
Hosted by the University of Strathclyde in partnership with the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER), and funded by the Scottish Government, AROS is in a critical two-year transition toward full independence.
Initial interviews have been scheduled for 22 October 2025
