We are working with a long standing and well-established Water Treatment company that holds a national presence. They are now looking to recruit a Water Treatment Service Chemist. You will cover Commercial, Industrial and Leisure sites carrying out analysis of steam boilers and cooling towers, and produce detailed reports for clients. Our client offers the successful candidate excellent overtime rates, generous holiday allowance, and company pension scheme.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Maldon, Brentwood, Basildon, Harlow, Cheshunt, Braintree, Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Saffron Walden, Bishop’s Stortford, St Albans, Watford, Hertford, Stevenage, Luton, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Slough.
- Hands on experience working for a Water Treatment company as a Service Chemist.
- Excellent technical and chemical knowledge.
- Experience managing accounts would be beneficial to the role.
- Excellent knowledge of Water Treatment systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to organise time in line with company and client needs.
- Undertaking sampling and analysis of steam boilers and cooling towers using onsite test kits.
- Ensuring to dose closed systems with correct chemicals upon completion of sampling and analysis.
- Efficiently managing and developing new and existing accounts.
- Attending sites.
- Finding opportunities to upsell company services.
- Producing quotes and tenders for clients.
- Producing detailed reports.
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent relationships and support.
- Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
