This is an exciting and urgent requirement for an experienced planning professional to take a senior role within a high-performing development team. The successful candidate will help drive forward a portfolio of housing-led projects across the southern Home Counties, with a particular focus on greenfield development.
You will play a key role in shaping planning strategy, managing applications, and influencing development outcomes on a range of land and residential projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking to work client-side or step into a more strategic, commercially focused planning role.
- Leading the preparation, submission, and management of planning applications
- Providing strategic planning advice to support the delivery of housing schemes
- Managing external consultants and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams
- Undertaking site appraisals, feasibility assessments, and planning risk evaluations
- Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and community groups
- Supporting land promotion and allocation strategies within Local Plans
- Contributing to project management, programme delivery, and company growth
