Job summary

A local authority support firm is seeking an Executive Business Manager to provide high-level strategic support within a local government environment. The ideal candidate will have significant executive management experience and will be integral in coordinating operations across the Directorate. Strong leadership skills and political awareness are essential. This position offers a contract expected to extend, with a pay range of £24.38 to £32.16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience providing high-level executive or business management support within a large complex organisation.
• Experience working with and advising senior management preferably within a local government or public sector environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated and strategic support to the Executive Director.
• Act as a key liaison between the Directorate and internal/external partners.
• Lead and develop the Chief Officer Support team.
