A recruitment agency in Bolton is looking for a Sports Coach/Teaching Assistant to deliver sports coaching and provide support in classrooms. Educato is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive school in Bolton to recruit a Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to start on 19th January 2025. This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, offering a competitive daily rate of £102 per day.
This is a varied and rewarding position for a sports coach who enjoys working with children and is keen to apply their coaching skills within a school setting, alongside providing classroom‑based teaching assistant support.
- Deliver structured sports coaching sessions across the school on a split timetable
- Support pupils as a Teaching Assistant during class time
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour through sport
- Support individual pupils and small groups to access the curriculum
- Assist teachers with classroom management and pupil engagement
- Help create a positive, active, and inclusive school environment
- Background or qualification in sports coaching, physical education or youth work
- Experience working with children in a school or coaching environment
- Confident managing groups and engaging pupils of varying abilities
- Positive, energetic and adaptable approach
- Teaching Assistant or SEN experience desirable but not essential
- £102 per day, paid weekly
- Full‑time, consistent work Monday to Friday
- Start date: 19th January 2025
