Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant – Bolton

Educato is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive school in Bolton to recruit a Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to start on 19th January 2025. This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, offering a competitive daily rate of £102 per day.

This is a varied and rewarding position for a sports coach who enjoys working with children and is keen to apply their coaching skills within a school setting, alongside providing classroom‑based teaching assistant support.

The Role

• Deliver structured sports coaching sessions across the school on a split timetable
• Support pupils as a Teaching Assistant during class time
• Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour through sport
• Support individual pupils and small groups to access the curriculum
• Assist teachers with classroom management and pupil engagement
• Help create a positive, active, and inclusive school environment

Ideal Candidate

• Background or qualification in sports coaching, physical education or youth work
