Assistant Boxing Coach – Training & Mentorship
Job summary
A local fitness centre in Belfast is seeking an individual to support small group boxing and training sessions. Responsibilities include coaching assistance, maintaining a positive training environment, and participating in skill development. This temporary role offers up to 25 hours per week with pay ranging from £7.55 to £12.21 per hour based on age. Training and mentorship will be provided, and there is potential for ongoing employment after the placement.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of fitness and boxing or ability to learn.
- Able to work as part of a team in a gym environment.
- Able to learn coaching and gym operations.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching classes, including technique demonstrations.
- Support delivery of SGPT classes ensuring safe form.
- Help with gym set up and maintaining a professional training space.
- Welcome members and create a positive training atmosphere.
- Participate in monthly reviews and skill development.
