Job summary
A reputable recruitment agency is seeking a Social Care Lawyer in Taunton to provide expert legal advice and manage complex tribunal cases related to SEND issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in legal representation and compliance with the Children and Families Act. The role involves leading case management meetings, supporting the SEND team, and delivering relevant training. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £36.45 and is a full-time, temporary role.

Responsibilities
- Deliver expert legal advice, representation, and case management on SEND-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Lead weekly case management meetings with Senior Assessment Officers.
- Triaging tribunal and mediation cases to ensure timely handling.
- Manage and represent in complex tribunal cases.
- Provide legal support across the SEND team.
- Deliver training sessions on SEND legal processes.
- Quality assure case bundles for accuracy and completeness.
