Job summary
A specialist legal firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced Grade A Personal Injury Solicitor to manage a caseload of serious injury and clinical negligence claims. The ideal candidate will have 1–6 years PQE and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Manage a caseload of serious injury and clinical negligence claims.
- Conduct expert assessments of liability and causation.
- Draft pleadings and prepare cost estimates.
- Represent clients at hearings.
- Support junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Participate in networking and charity partnerships.
- Maintain standards of client care and compliance.

- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with 1–6 years’ PQE
- Demonstrated experience in serious injury or clinical negligence work
- Comfortable managing your own litigated caseload independently
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Empathetic and collaborative with a client‑first mindset
- Supervisory or business development experience (desirable)
- Running a caseload of serious injury and clinical negligence claims, including brain and spinal injuries and fatal cases
- Conducting expert assessments of liability and causation
- Drafting pleadings and preparing cost estimates
- Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to knowledge sharing
- Participating in firm‑wide networking and charity partnerships
- Maintaining excellent standards of client care and compliance
