Real Estate Finance Lawyer - Plymouth

Fantastic 'top of the market' new real estate finance vacancy just announced by one of the leading firms in the Southwest market.

Our client is an international firm with an excellent reputation. Now in the UK Top 25, they work for household name clients and often get involved in groundbreaking, high profile work. The firm's major Real Estate Team are recruiting a skilled real estate associate to join their innovative legal services team. This group is comprised of over 100 professionals, including lawyers, paralegals, management information specialists, and legal project managers, offering a variety of services and solutions to clients. The team also assists the wider firm on high-volume workflows, managed services, and bespoke projects.

They are now seeking to expand their team with an additional Real Estate Finance Lawyer. This position is to be based in Plymouth at least two days per week, with the option to work from home on other days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of established workstreams for banking clients.
• Provide technical supervision and mentorship to four supporting paralegals.
• Collaborate with the Legal Solutions Centre Director, Partners, and the Real Estate Finance team to enhance current services and develop new workstreams.
• Work with project managers and legal technologists to onboard and scale services.
• Support bespoke projects within your expertise.
• Advocate for innovation and efficient service delivery within the firm to optimize legal work and help attract new clients.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be closely working with the Real Estate team on overlapping projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your existing knowledge, build on your technical skills, and gain experience in project management, people management, and emerging legal technologies. The role provides a collaborative and dynamic work environment with a diverse range of tasks and opportunities for career advancement.

The successful candidate will be 1+PQE with experience in either real estate, banking or real estate finance with previous supervision experience.
