Role
The Investment team at Kinetic Investments is looking for a highly motivated and adaptable Associate to join us as we scale into our first fund (Fund I). This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role with a strong focus on investor relations, fundraising support, and external representation, while also contributing across deal-flow, portfolio, and fund operations.
We're seeking someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, brings strategic thinking and relationship instincts, and is excited to be part of a lean, ambitious team. You will be a key player in how we present ourselves to the world and in building what's next.
Key accountabilities
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective LPs
- Lead or support fundraising activities, including LP communications, pipeline management, and presentation materials
- Represent the fund at events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings
- Contribute to deal sourcing and manage the early-stage startup pipeline
- Support investment due diligence and ongoing portfolio monitoring
- Assist with fund operations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in VC, private equity, investor relations, fundraising, or high-growth startups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment with shifting priorities
- Prior LP-facing experience, particularly with family offices or institutional investors
- Exposure to the full fund lifecycle — fundraising, investments, and portfolio management
- Experience in lean teams or startup settings with a hands-on, adaptable mindset
- Salary between £40,000 - £65,000, dependent on experience
