- Oversee all branch operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional customer service
- Lead, coach, and motivate the team to meet performance, sales, and service targets
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including managing key accounts and resolving complex enquiries
- Prepare customer quotations and oversee day‑to‑day sales activity
- Manage purchasing, stock levels, and inventory accuracy to ensure strong product availability
- Maintain a well‑presented, safe, and organised branch environment
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, operational procedures, and health & safety standards
- Manage financial processes including cash handling, invoicing, and internal control compliance
- Conduct staff reviews and support training, development, and succession planning
- Work closely with senior management to support strategic objectives and contribute to long‑term growth
- Electrical wholesale experience is essential
- Proven background in a supervisory or managerial role within electrical wholesale or a closely related industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer‑focused approach
- Highly organised with strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment
