Job summary
A leading legal firm in London is seeking an experienced senior associate specializing in international arbitration. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of arbitration rules and experience in handling commercial disputes. This role offers the chance to engage in cutting-edge work within a supportive team focused on client success and diversity.
Qualifications

- Knowledge of ICSID, UNCITRAL, and ICC rules.
- Experience in drafting arbitration agreements.

Skills
Education
Fielding 'a diverse set of disputes lawyers', our client is instructed to act in both international commercial and investment treaty arbitration proceedings. The team handle UK and international work with significant expertise in mandates involving Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Africa, Brazil, and the Middle East.
The group predominantly focuses on the ICSID, UNCITRAL and ICC rules; investment treaty arbitration and public international law. Our practitioners have in depth knowledge of the various different arbitration rules and a wealth of experience.
We are able to advise on all stages of the arbitral process including: drafting of arbitration agreements; choice of law and jurisdiction; conducting arbitral proceedings including acting as advocates before arbitral tribunals; enforcement of arbitral awards (including defending enforcement proceedings); and connected court matters such as anti-suit injunctions, freezing orders and other emergency measures.
The team is also experienced in investment treaty arbitration under the ICSID, ICC and UNCITRAL Rules. They regularly act in arbitration matters for corporate clients in the automotive, chemicals, construction, defence, logistics, energy, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, telecoms and technology sectors. Our recent experience includes acting for claimants and respondents in claims under all arbitration rules.
