This role sits in the S&P Global Commodity Insights Product organization within Market Reporting & Trading Solutions business line. The role works closely with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensures delivery of products that meet customer needs and aligns with business strategy. As a member of the team, you will play a substantial role in building and maintaining a digital, customer‑centric portfolio of commodity information offerings for the global Emerging Benchmarks markets. In this role you will work with different business functions such as sales, editorial, technology and marketing to develop and execute a customer‑centric roadmap that solves problems for customers. In addition to this, you will collaborate with other business lines to ensure there is strategic alignment across pricing and analytics segments.
The solution for Emerging Benchmarks includes pricing, market insight, and news. The Product Manager will play a substantial role in developing a coherent product offering around these features, delivering it to clients (go‑to‑market), and driving revenue growth.
This position provides the opportunity to play a highly strategic role within S&P Global Commodity Insights, helping to shape the business plan for some of the fastest growing markets such as Petrochemicals. Working within the Product organization also gives the opportunity to engage with and gain exposure to all areas of the business, liaising with cross‑functional team members and global teams on a daily basis.
You are responsible for developing and executing product strategies, ultimately driving revenue by meeting the needs of current clients, displacing competitors, penetrating new markets, solving new problems, or selling to new client bases. In addition, this role will work closely with the Emerging Benchmarks Product Lead and respective content leadership to identify additional strategic expansion opportunities and build them into the roadmap.
