My client are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Freelance RWE & Epidemiology Vaccine Expert to join their team. This exciting opportunity involves delving into cutting-edge research within the pharmaceutical industry. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in RWE and epidemiology, with a focus on vaccine-related studies.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth analysis of real-world data sources to develop and implement epidemiological studies on vaccine effectiveness and safety
• Utilising large datasets to extract valuable insights and evidence about vaccine usage and outcomes
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality RWE and epidemiological research within established timelines
• Engaging with external thought leaders and experts to leverage their expertise in vaccine-related studies
• Staying abreast of the latest developments and best practices in RWE and epidemiology to ensure compliance and maintain research quality

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Epidemiology, Public Health, or related fields
• Proven experience in leveraging RWE to address epidemiological inquiries, particularly in relation to vaccines
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages relevant to epidemiological research
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape and ethical considerations in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries

Daily Activities

• Analysing real-world datasets to assess the efficacy and safety of vaccines
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to brainstorm and implement epidemiological studies
• Disseminating research findings through presentations and publications
• Monitoring the latest developments in RWE and epidemiology, with a focus on the vaccine domain
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of best practices in RWE and epidemiological research
