A leading NHS trust in the UK is seeking a Senior Pharmacist for their Virtual Ward service, focusing on delivering clinical pharmacy care to patients receiving treatment at home. The ideal candidate will possess considerable hospital pharmacy experience and a strong background in service development. This position supports flexible working and offers generous benefits. Salary ranges from £61,631 to £68,623 per annum.
The Virtual ward service is an initiative which provides our patients with timely and appropriate support to be able to safely receive treatment at home and supports early discharges and admission avoidance for patients who do not need to be in hospital.
The Senior Pharmacist- Virtual ward pharmacist will be working with the multidisciplinary team to provide a high-quality pharmacy service to the virtual ward patients.
The post holder will be involved in the developing the service by reviewing, developing and implementing policies and procedures as well as providing relevant training to pharmacy and non-pharmacy staf
