Job description
Overview

The role involves waste management duties across the site, operating waste handling equipment and supporting waste and recycling activities as instructed by line management within the level of professional competence.

Responsibilities
  • Utilising tow trucks
  • Operate the waste disposal compactor
  • Utilising the road sweeper
  • Operate the onsite bailers
  • Utilising fork lift truck
  • Operate jet wash
  • Cleaning compactor area
  • Ensuring bin compounds are kept locked and free from litter
  • Collection and disposal of Clinical and Domestic waste containers across the site
  • Emptying ward Clinical and Domestic Waste cupboards
  • Report all fly tipped waste to your superior
  • Collect all waste types as and when required
  • Ensure New Cross is free from blown litter
