You will have an interest in video and compression technology, along with experience in mobile and desktop system-level development. A proactive attitude and strong communication skills to contribute to technical discussions are essential.

1. Collaborate with decoder and encoder teams to support maintenance and improvements in core C++ codec integration layers.
2. Integrate other compression solutions, such as VC6 and point cloud compression, into video editing and creation applications.
3. Contribute to open-source projects by submitting changes upstream and assist with integrating LCEVC into video player open-source projects.
4. Participate in development planning, including sprint planning and refinement sessions for new features or issue resolution.
5. Provide status updates through daily stand-ups and reporting on progress, issues, and successes.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience developing system-level software for Android.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and other programming languages.
• Interest in developing system-level software for iOS or desktop OSes for third-party applications.
• Desire to expand knowledge of video codecs and streaming technology.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to document requirements, and provide clear progress updates.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban, with tools like Jira.
• Experience developing Android applications, especially video apps with ExoPlayer or AndroidX/Media, and familiarity with Android NDK.
• Experience with FFmpeg or its components, either using or developing.
• iOS development experience using Swift and Objective-C.
• Knowledge of video codecs, encoding, and streaming technologies.
