A global aerospace and defense leader is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their Banbury team. In this role, you will provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial performance and coordinating audit processes. Applicants should hold a finance qualification and have proven business partnering experience. This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Safran is an international high-technology group, operating in the aviation (propulsion, equipment and interiors), defense and space markets. Its core purpose is to contribute to a safer, more sustainable world, where air transport is more environmentally friendly, comfortable and accessible. Safran has a global presence, with 100,000 employees and sales of 27.3 billion euros in 2024, and holds, alone or in partnership, world or regional leadership positions in its core markets.
Safran is in the 2nd place in the aerospace and defense industry in TIME magazine's "World's best companies 2024" ranking.
Safran Electronics & Defense offers its customers onboard intelligence solutions allowing them to understand the environment, reduce mental load and guarantee a trajectory, even in critical situations, in all environments: on land, at sea, in the sky or space. The company harnesses the expertise of its 13,000 employees towards these three functions: observe, decide and guide, for the civil and military markets.
We're looking for a commercially driven Finance Business Partner to join our Banbury team during an exciting period of growth. You will be a key strategic partner to the Value Stream leadership team at our Actuation Systems Composite Center of Excellence, providing timely, data-driven insights to support smarter business decisions, maximise returns, and foster a cost-conscious, continuous improvement culture.
At our Banbury site, we design, develop, and manufacture high-performance aerospace composite products for military and commercial applications. Our advanced research, development, and manufacturing capabilities include robotic filament winding, multi-axis braiding, and high-volume composite component production.
Your ability to build strong relationships, challenge conventional thinking, and drive performance through insightful analysis will be crucial to success. While experience in Manufacturing or Engineering is beneficial, it's not essential-we encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply!
