A leading NHS Trust in London is seeking a highly motivated Community Receptionist for the Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service. The role involves being the first point of contact for patients, managing sensitive issues, and ensuring a positive experience. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team while promoting access to services. Ideal candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, telephone, and IT skills, with responsibilities including directing patients and managing confidential information. Evening shifts required once or twice a week.
An opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Receptionists to join our Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service. You will be based at Patrick Clements Clinic, Central Middlesex Hospital providing contraception and testing/treatment for the management of sexually transmitted infections. You may also be required occasionally to cover clinics at Ealing, Harrow and Hillingdon.
Your role will be crucial to the smooth running of the service, as you will be the first point of contact for our service users. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure that all patients have a positive experience of the service. This non-judgemental role is within the Sexual Health field and deals with directing patients to the correct member of our multi-disciplinary team and dealing with highly confidential and sensitive issues. You will provide a professional and caring welcome to patients of all ages including teenagers, promoting access to services for young people. You will be able to work independently using your own initiative while maintaining your role as a strong team player. You will have excellent telephone and IT skills. Training will be provided for our IT systems and in contraception and sexual health processes. This post requires working on evening shifts as well, one to two days a week.
