Maintenance Person
Quarry Mount Residential Care Home is looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Person to join our friendly and supportive team.
This role involves carrying out general maintenance duties to ensure our care home remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents, staff, and visitors.
- General maintenance including decorating, basic plumbing, carpentry and gardening
- Routine inspections, repairs, and upkeep of the building and grounds
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Promptly reporting and resolving maintenance issues
- Interacting professionally and respectfully with residents and staff
- Previous experience in a maintenance role
- Competent in general repairs and property maintenance
- Compassionate and understanding, particularly when working around residents with dementia
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
- Friendly and professional manner
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check required (must be completed prior to employment)
