Trainee Traffic Installation Technician Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (On-site)
Telent is seeking a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. Due to growth and demand, we are expanding our team. This is a field-based role; the successful candidate must have a full UK driving license and be willing to travel across the region and work in all weather conditions.
If you are looking to develop hands-on field experience, have some electrical installation knowledge or experience, hold an Electrical Engineering diploma/certificate, and want to start a new career, this opportunity is for you. We offer a structured training program to enhance your skills.
Join our Engineering Team at Telent to work closely with technical experts on critical infrastructure projects, making a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
Working with experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain, and test Traffic Signals and Electrical components within Gloucestershire.
Training includes on-the-job learning, desk-based, and online modules, leading to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, and certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Candidate Profile:
Interested in field-based engineering, with some exposure to electrical installations, or eager to start a new career. No experience necessary if motivated to learn.
