Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Patient Flow Administrator team.

This is a busy, fast paced post that will require problem solving skills and thinking outside of the box. Providing day to day support for the Patient Flow Practitioners in the bed office.

The shift pattern is 08:00 - 21:00 - Monday to Friday based at York Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • To work with the Patient Flow Practitioner (PFP) and be a point of contact Monday to Friday for bed capacity issues on site (to work within a team on a rotational basis). To proactively support the discharge process and liaise with PTS service for ‘on day’ discharges.
  • To provide admin support for the PFP’s.
  • To provide training and troubleshooting with staff members using different computer systems used in the Trust; Safecare, Health roster, CPD, PTS booking system.
