POSITION DESCRIPTION
Finance Controller
Managing Director
Monday to Friday: 8.30 am - 4.30 pm.
The post holder may be required at times to work outside his/her normal working hours to perform duties.
Subordinate staff: To be confirmed
Colleague Team: Various levels of management within the company, other members of staff within functional roles.
External contacts: Customers, suppliers, Company Accountants, officers of Bank, Inland Revenue, Vat office, government agencies, computer support personnel, insurers, pension managers, Insurance Brokers, Energy Consultants, HR Support Company, and other external service providers.

To ensure the growth strategy of the business is supported with the financial information needed.
Control the Finance function, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
Control of IT function, ensuring continued operation and improvement of the IT within the business.
Control of the Personnel function, ensuring the business benefits from a controlled workforce.
Manage and Supervise your team in accordance with the business strategy. Including the provision of job descriptions and personal development planning for the individuals (PDP's).
Establish departmental KPI's and a system for monitoring and reporting KPI's for the entire business. To be set up by end December 2025.
As member of Board of Directors; to make Strategic recommendations on improvements in working practices within the business were appropriate.
Performance of all duties, in accordance with company and departmental standards and in line with the Laws of the Land
To effectively produce reports that support the financial performance of the business. This will be done via the timely completion of the following that culminate in the creation of the monthly month-end reporting pack. This will include:
Drive process improvement within finance and across the business.
To satisfy the legal requirements by being responsible for your own and your colleagues Health and Safety. Actively promote best practices across the site.
