The Head of Operations ensures that Ibraaz operates as a safe, professional and welcoming cultural institution. This role leads all aspects of building operations, visitor experience and operational delivery across exhibitions, screenings, talks, performances, workshops, Sofra, Iqra, and the Mussala.
The post‑holder is both strategic and hands‑on: they design and implement operational systems, manage facilities and compliance, lead the visitor experience teams, and ensure that all public activities, from an intimate discussion to a full concert, run seamlessly.
Working closely with the Director of Finance & Operations, Programme team, Events Producer and Communications, the Head of Operations sits at the heart of the institution’s daily functioning and long‑term planning.
We are seeking an experienced, organised and people‑focused Head of Operations who thrives in a public‑facing cultural environment and is committed to excellence, inclusion and hospitality.
Opened in October 2025, Ibraaz is a platform dedicated to highlighting art, culture and ideas from the Global Majority. Ibraaz aspires to be a brave space unafraid to address the issues of our time and envision a more hopeful future through the work of artists and thinkers – telling new stories, rethinking systems, and forging connections across borders.
Rooted in London yet globally attuned, the dynamic, multidisciplinary programme takes place across six floors of a striking 10,000 square foot Grade II listed building at 93 Mortimer Street. Through exhibitions, talks, screenings, music nights, and a residency structure for its library, café and bookshop, Ibraaz will bring communities and ideas together.
Please send your CV and cover letter to jobs@ibraaz.org, along with any supporting information if you wish. Applications may be submitted as a PDF or Word document.
The deadline for applications is 23:59 on the 14th January 2026. Please note that the advert may close earlier if we receive a high volume of applications, so early submission is advised to ensure your application is considered.
